Ingredients / OLD FASHIONED IRISH WHISKEY RECIPE

60ml Black Cask Irish Whiskey

10ml Ruby port syrup

3 drops of orange bitters

Ruby Port Syrup

300g Sugar

150ml Ruby port

3 orange zest

Method

Add whiskey, port syrup and and bitters to a mixing glass. Stir fast for 20-30 seconds. Strain into a chilled glass with ice. Finish with orange zest.

RUBY PORT SYRUP

Add all ingredients to a saucepan on low heat and stir until sugar fully dissolves. Strain, bottle and refrigerate!
